If you are receiving the newsletter by email and request that the service be discontinued, we will comply with your request as soon as is possible, although you should be aware that we are human, and occasionally make mistakes. Please remember this site is run in someones spare time as a labour of love.
As a not for profit organisation, the Chernobyl Children's Project (UK) and the West Pennine Branch are exempt from registration with the Information Commissioner. However, use of your personal information by ccp-westpennine.org.uk will always be in line with the principles of the Data Protection Act. On request, and on provision of adequate proof of identity, we will erase all contact details for an individual. The information we retain will only be that necessary to maintain contact with group members and supporters, and that information will be used for no other purpose. Information will not be released to third parties, or group members who have no good reason to be in possession of that information. Subject access requests will be undertaken on request to the webmaster. Normally no charge will be made, but the webmaster reserves the right to levy the standard £10 fee if he feels it appropriate.
